Can’t Remove BlockerU ads? -- BlockerU Removal instructions!

Step 1: End related processes.

for Windows XP users

• Press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys together to open Windows Task Manager ;
• Under the Processes tab, right-click on the processes related with the virus and click End Process

for Windows 7 / Windows Vista users

• Task Manager by right clicking on Task Bar or pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del together ;
• Under the Processes tab, right-click on the processes related with the virus and click End Process

for Windows 8 / 8.1 users

• Right-click on Task Bar and click click Task Manager;
• Under the Processes tab, right-click on the processes related with the virus and click End Process

Step 2:Uninstall the BlockerU program from your computer.

For Windows 8 users

drag your mouse pointer to the right edge of the screen, select Search and search for “control panel” .

Or you can click the Start button and select Control Panel.

click the “Start” button(right on the lower left corner), then click on the “Control Panel” menu option.(In the first step, please try to identify and remove any malicious program that might be already installed on your computer.)

For Windows 7 users

 Click on the Uninstall A Program button under the Programs category.

Select the related file, and then click on the Uninstall/Change button.

(Please uninstall any unknown program from your computer.)

Step 3: Reset your browsers.

If you have more than one browsers that get infected with BlockerU, please follow the guide below and remove them separately.

Remove “ BlockerU” from Internet Explorer

You can reset Internet Explorer settings to return them to the state they were in when Internet Explorer was first installed on your PC.
tep2.Clear browser add-ons from IE/FF/Chrome:
Internet Explorer
1) Go to ‘Tools’ → ‘Manage Add-ons';
2) Choose ‘Search Providers’ → choose ‘Bing’ search engine or ‘Google’ search engine and make it default;
3) Select ‘Search Results’ and click ‘Remove’ to remove it;
4) Go to ‘Tools’ → ‘Internet Options’, select ‘General tab’ and click ‘Use default’ button or enter your own website, e.g. Google.com. Click OK to save the changes.

Google Chrome
1) Click on ‘Customize and control’ Google Chrome icon, select ‘Settings';
2) Choose ‘Basic Options’.
3) Change Google Chrome’s homepage to google.com or any other and click the ‘Manage search engines…’ button;
4) Select ‘Google’ from the list and make it your default search engine;
5) Select ‘Search Results’ from the list remove it by clicking the “X” mark.

Mozilla Firefox
1) Click on the magnifier’s icon and select ‘Manage Search Engines….';
2) Choose ‘Search Results’ from the list and click ‘Remove’ and OK to save changes;

3) Go to ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’. Reset the startup homepage or change it to google.com under the ‘General tab';
